New price for the Compact Flash adapter (08.10.2001 - 04:10 Uhr)

The Compact Flash adapter for the Atari Portfolio has been reduced in price by DM 50. The adapter for the use of the widely used memory cards is now available at a price of DM 195.-- including installation and modification. If you want to do it yourself, you pay only DM 145. The pure kit is no longer available because the demand for it was too low. (tr)

Internet access with the Portfolio (08.10.2001 - 04:10 Uhr)

For the pocket computer Atari Portfolio, there will be software for Internet access in the foreseeable future. It is based on a small package driver for DOS. The driver is only about 35 KBytes "big" and was developed by David Lindauer. It is available on Stefan Kächele's website and is just waiting to be optimised for the portfolio by an experienced assembler programmer. (tr)
